Does Insurance Cover a Girlfriend’s Abortion?

What About Medicaid in Missouri?
If your girlfriend has Medicaid, it’s crucial to know that Missouri has specific laws regarding abortion coverage. In general, Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) only covers abortion in very limited circumstances, such as:

- When the pregnancy is the result of incest
- When the life of the mother is at risk
